Diana L. Garcia is a San Antonio, Texas native with over 30 years’ experience in the field of Human Resource Management. Diana has worked in individual contributor and executive roles for small and large Fortune 500, profit and non-profit companies based in San Antonio and other areas in Texas. In that framework she has gained a wealth of knowledge that equips her to form and operate DLG HR Consultants, LLC. Diana consistently provides expert HR advice and solutions with results driven guidance to execute operational strategies, improve employee engagement and high levels of customer service.
Diana has proven success in identifying root cause analysis and translating complex processes into clear, concise action steps. Diana has provided overall consulting for organizational business plans, change management, brand strategy, process improvement, employee and leadership coaching, training, performance management, skills talent management, talent acquisition and retention, Diversity & Inclusion awareness, total rewards, pay plan strategy and employee relations.
Diana has an undergraduate degree in Social Science and a Masters’ Degree in Organizational Studies. She holds a Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR), is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), is a certified Everything DiSC Facilitator and accredited Facilitator of Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team. Diana has served as President for the Gulf Coast Texas Human Resources Management Association and as District Director for the Texas Southwest Area on the SHRM Texas State Council. Diana is an active member of the San Antonio HR Chapter and serves on the Professional Development committee.
Diana serves as a mentor to women and men of all ages and various professions and has helped individuals with their career path and transition. In her free time Diana enjoys spending time with family, traveling, exploring, gardening, and learning from and helping others. In 2012, Diana earned a First-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and believes that you must aspire to achieve what you think you cannot do, do it, and inspire others.
